Promises, Promises Packs Up

The Broadway revival of Promises, Promises, starring Kristin Chenoweth and Sean Hayes, plays its last performance at the Broadway Theatre.

Based on the 1960 Academy Award-winning Billy Wilder film The Apartment, Promises, Promises tells the story of the Consolidated Life Insurance Company and Chuck Baxter, one of its charming young employees. In an effort to advance his career, Chuck lends executives his apartment for their extramarital romantic trysts. But things become slightly complicated when Chuck discovers Fran Kubelik, the object of his affection, is involved with one of the executives.
